The former Labour MP for Bradford West, Marsha Singh, has died. Mr Singh who was fifty seven had been suffering from ill health for some time. The former MP stood down in from the Commons in early March. My sincere condolences to his family friends comrades". The Respect Coalition have joined Mr Galloway in "offering our sincerest condolences to the family of the former Bradford West MP, Marsha Singh, who sadly passed away today"

Labour Leader Ed Miliband said following news of the death of Marsha Singh: "I was very sad to learn of Marsha’s death. He was a tireless representative of the people of Bradford West. Politics gave him the opportunity to make a positive difference to the community he grew up in and was so proud of. To him, it was a privilege to represent them. And while I know he was sad to leave Parliament in 2012, he did so for the right reasons. I send my deepest condolences on behalf of the Labour Party to his family and friends."
