Miliband: "Immigration must work for all"

The Labour leader Ed Miliband has used a party political broadcast to be shown tonight to admit the previous Labour government "didn't get immigration right". The Labour leader goes on to talk about diversity in Britain and says its "not prejudice to worry about immigration" and the last Labour government "were wrong to dismiss people's concerns". Mr Miliband also says he would make changes by "making English language a priority" following cuts to the budget by the Coalition. He also says that those who work in the public sector "need to be able to speak English". He finishes by saying "I believe diversity is good for Britain but it has got to work for all and not just for some and that means everybody taking responsibility and everyone playing their part and contributing to the country. That is what one nation is all about and thats the Britain I want to build".
