There have been calls for newspapers around the world to print them as an act of defiance. To prove there is a free press they should. Although I do recognise editors don't only have a duty to protect the freedom of the press, they also have a duty to protect their staff. As the terrorists today called out the names of the journalists before they shot them it is clear the safety of their staff is more important. Berliner Zeitung has published the cartoons on their front and back pages, we will have to wait and see how many others follow suit.

Je Suis Charlie: Vive la Liberte
