Police and protesters clash following confederations cup match in Brazil

Following Brazil's 3-0 win over Japan in the confederations cup, violence erupted between Brazilians, who had been demonstrating before the game, and the riot police. There is growing anger in Brazil over the amount of money the country is using to stage next year's World Cup. 

Thousands of Brazilians demonstrated outside the country's national stadium in Brasilia to vent their anger. Police used tear gas and pepper spray to control protestors, there are also, unconfirmed, reports that rubber bullets were also used in dispersing the crowd, there were fifteen arrests made.
