Di-ing to be Mayor of London?

The former Shadow Public Health Minister, Diane Abbott is 7/2 second favourite with William Hill to be Labour's candidate for the 2016 London Mayoral Election, after topping a poll of Labour voters asked who they would like to see as their Party's candidate. But former Shadow Minister for London, Tessa Jowell, is the clear 6/4 favourite with Hills to be handed the candidacy.

'As Boris Jonson has demonstrated, the position of Mayor of London carries considerable political influence and there is likely to be no shortage of wannabe contenders for the role of Labour candidate, particularly as we make Labour hot favourites to win in 2016' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
